10 Yebo Yebo - Neuroxyde (Neuroxyde from Berlin Re-work)

Neuroxyde recently launched labels Neurotraxx and Starlight and has been a consistent presence on Beatport's Charts.

The Original Yebo Yebo Mix I think is the hottest, but the Berlin Re-work also gets my thumbs up!

9 In the Air feat Rudy - Axwell Rmx


Chart topper Axwell returns with yet another hit released on http://www.axtone.com/ltwb/ Axtone Records. Although not as powerful as his monster collaboration "Leave the World Behind"


Coincidentally, this version was apparently banned in the United Kingdom, or so it says on a ton of websites... I tried to investigate, but found no information after 20 minutes, and I have 8 other songs to cover so I will move on.

I love this track, I wish I could hear more of that Sax and it runs a bit repetitive a bit, but hot track none-the-less!

Beatport's selection has never let me down, but this sample is a way overused. Definitely over-formulated, DJ Carlos Rafael once told me, songs with "Sunshine" in the title are always hits... Great drums, but lose the sample...

Funky rhythms with some hot flutes summoning the dance gods!
Not their first collaboration, but quite possibly one of their best!

3 Sweet Child of Mine 2009 - Julian The Angel (Dario Nunez Rmx)


It's pretty safe to say Dario Nunez remixes and rocks with great consistency and you can pretty much trust that any remix he puts out is a serious banger!

Still, the task of re-mixing such a classic song takes a toll on credibility when the original is still in my head even after hearing the remix. Dario does a great job at putting the past behind and moving forward with this genre-twisting re-classic!

2 Thriller - Aqua Diva & Jones (David Jones Mix)


Not falling shy of having virtually every single MJ song remixed and re-edited within the past month, this Thriller remix has caught the most heat (at least on Beatport). The track is definitely smoking, I just wish it didn't have to happen by jumping on the MJ Tribute remix wagon... All the original samples are what set this track on fire, which basically means Diva and Jones really didnt do much...

I wish I saw a bit more re-edits and mash ups on this one...

After hearing this, I am left desiring to hear the original... tsk tsk...

Back again with their best ranking top 10 single this week... Must be great to have two top 10's!!

Well deserving this duo is ripping the charts with their remixes, this one leaves me wanting more... WAAAY more from these two! Sampling Chic this way is a great reminder of why House Music reigns supreme in the clubs!
